The Reclusive Pilgrim

This a blog of my thoughts on politics, religion, philosophy. I am a reclusive pilgrim searching for the meaning of life and the higher power of goodness, in this world . My desire is to share my thoughts of what I have discovered through experience.

Role Models in Today's World

What is the typical role model in today's world? Who is admired most more than others? Why? What we have in today's world is a a gradual passing of the strong male ideal role model, or the strong independent woman who strives to make it on her own. We have a merging of society and the various ethos' and ideals of who is admired the most over others? We have yet to see a strong personality stand out enough for people to say as a society that we admire this person or that person for their charasmatic personality. We have not seen the standout of anyone individual since the cold war. In it is in times of extreme adversity, and when humainty faces it's greatest challenges that individuals stand out. Whether in the movies or politcs we do not have anyone standout role model, but rather a collective of rolemodels.
