The Reclusive Pilgrim

This a blog of my thoughts on politics, religion, philosophy. I am a reclusive pilgrim searching for the meaning of life and the higher power of goodness, in this world . My desire is to share my thoughts of what I have discovered through experience.

Way of the world:

People are continuosly thanking the Lord for good things, or when things happen that seem to be lucky. I'm sure the lord does'nt mind the thanks when it's warranted. But these same people are allways the first to blame the Lord when things go bad. But don't you think that alot of things that happen to people are matters of chance? Whether good or bad? We all see people winning awards they get up in stage and amoung the first they thank is the Lord. Which is fine if it were warranted. But was it? What if the person winning the award won becasue a matter of chance? Then who should they thank? The voters. What about good things vs.bad things? Matters of chance. Life is made up of a series of chance encounters, lucky events, are matters of chance. In other words' life is gamble. If that is the case then when should thanks be given to the Lord? When it's appropraite. Whens' that? Hardly ever. If the lord wanted to interfere in people's lives the angels would be seen more often, there would be more prophets with the power of the lord in them, and evil would'nt be so prevalent in the world. There would be more mystics with the power to see the reality of the spiritual world. But there's another reason why the will of God is not seen more often in the world. Evil, the fallen angel known as Sammael has been given dominion of the world to rule and to test humanity. Sammaels goal is to create a kingdom of hois own from humanity. But there shall be a few who prove faithful to the lord who shall enter the kingdom of heaven. The matters of chance are a result of this spiritual conflict. With evil haveing dominion over the world life is'nt so certain because we as humans are free to decide. This freedom of will allows us to choose between good, and evil. Thus the human will is made to choose for better or worse. If life is a matter of chance then what is the meaning of life? Because of chance, life is whatever you choose to make it to be. Those who choose to seek the face of the God of Jacob will have their faith tested. They must be prepared to make sacrifices for the matter of doing good, and be prepared to face hardship for doing what is right. But the faithful will turn to the lord in times of hardship looking for advice and comfort. Those truely depressed and miserable beings will find the peace and comfort they seek in the Lord. Those who seek wise councel from the Lord shall find it, just in ways they don't expect. The Lord is there inside of you waiting for you to begin reaching out to him. In the book of Revelation the lord is described there as being a like a giant blue crstyal being, sitting on his throne sorrounded by his angels. Those who see him will know at that moment what the fear of God is realy like. Those who see him have a chance of recieveing his blessing of life. The chance to live with him in eternity. The test of life, the test of faith is the test of whether a person is worthy of recieveing the blessing of life. But the test is not given by the Lord, but by the demon Sammael who needs to be bested if anyone is to ever become blessed. The message of Jesus is that the faithful will be prosecuted for seeking the the blessing of the lord. They the faithful must be prepared to face the pain and loneliness that is known as a hell on earth. This is because of Sammael's arrogance. In his belief that humanity is weak and will turn back when faced with seemingly impossible odds. To beleive in the impossible being possible is the way of the Lord. This is the way of the world.
